Have you ever run for office before?
No.
Why should voters support your candidacy?
I have the moral courage to make decisions that are fair and just, and will do so despite personal cost.
Why do you want to be a judge?
Our communities seem more divided than ever. People seem more interested in talking at each other than listening. I want to be a judge to provide a level playing field for all litigants and to ensure that the interests and voices of all are heard and understood.
What was the most interesting case you handled as a lawyer?
The most interesting case I handled as a lawyer involved claims made by the estate of a woman who refused to eat in jail. The case involved complicated issues of policy, procedure, personal responsibility, mental health and Constitutional rights.
