Fordham Award luncheon is Friday

The American Bar Association's State & Local Government Law Section will host its 15th annual Jefferson B. Fordham Award Luncheon at noon, Aug. 3, at Maggiano's Little Italy, 111 W. Grand.

The special speaker is Karen Freeman-Wilson, mayor of Gary, Ind. Honorees include Stephen H. Pugh of Pugh, Jones & Johnson P.C. and Daniel J. Curtin Jr., both with the "Lifetime Achievement Award."

Stephen J. Acquario will receive the "Advocacy Award," and the "Up & Comer Award" will go to Sarah Weber Langlois.
