The parent company of Banana Boat sunscreen products has agreed to a $200 million settlement to end a class-action lawsuit in Chicago’s federal court. The agreement stems from a product recall which came after reports that five consumers accidentally lit themselves on fire due to unknowingly dispensing excessive amounts of sunscreen because of the size of the spray valves.
