Anti-gay activists win free-speech protection
Saying “provocative” messages have just as much protection as popular ones, a federal judge has cleared the way for two men to pass out anti-gay fliers at a west suburban community college.
In a written opinion, U.S. District Judge Robert W. Gettleman held that Waubonsee Community College violated the First Amendment rights of Wayne Lela and John McCartney.
