The man who helped organize the 1960 Kennedy-Nixon televised presidential debate is now the namesake of a new debate series at the Northwestern University School of Law. The Newton N. Minow Debates will be the bonus result of Dean Daniel B. Rodriguez’s idea to raise funds for an endowed professorship in honor of Minow, senior counsel at Sidley, Austin LLP.
