Five-month suspension urged for lawyer’s unreasonable fee

A Homewood lawyer should lose his law license for five months because he charged a client an unreasonable fee and engaged in other misconduct, a lawyer-discipline panel has recommended. An Illinois Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Review Board panel urged the sanction for Michael N. Miller, 73, a sole practitioner who focuses on personal-injury, workers’ compensation, real estate and estate planning matters.
