Federal jury not swayed by fired DuPage Co. staffer’s FMLA claims

A federal jury has rejected a former DuPage County employee’s claims that the county violated her rights under the Family Medical Leave Act when she was fired in 2012. “She was hired to do her job, and she wasn’t doing it,” said DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert B.
