A woman found guilty of harassing federal officials involved in a criminal case against her brother has lost a challenge to her conviction. In a written opinion, U.S. District Judge Michael J. Reagan denied Cherron Marie Phillips’ motion for judgment of acquittal on charges of filing bogus $100 billion liens against property she thought was owned by government employees.
