A state appeals panel has reversed the dismissal of a malicious-prosecution lawsuit between an anesthesiologist and her in-laws following her husband’s death. Dr. Dava Grundhoefer’s husband, David Sorin, died in August 2008 when he fell while climbing outside of their house. Grundhoefer was appointed as administrator of the estate, and she served a citation upon her husband’s parents, John and Bette Sorin, to discover assets.
