Panel: School board member rightly ousted

A suburban high school district board member was properly removed from office in 2013 because of a felony conviction, a state appeals panel has ruled. That same ousted Thornton Township High School District 205 board member was reappointed to a different vacancy on the board last month. While the 1st District Appellate Court affirmed the 2013 removal, a new court battle over a challenge to his second stint on the board looms. Kenneth J.
