Museums, victims of Iran-sponsored terrorism face off

Two Chicago museums should be ordered to turn over ancient Persian artifacts to victims of a terrorist attack financed by Iran, a lawyer for the victims contended today in federal appeals court.Asher Perlin of the Florida Professional Law Group PLLC in Hollywood, Fla., said the artifacts belong to Iran and can help cover a $71.5 million judgment against that nation.Iran denies it owns the artifacts only because it hopes to gain an advantage against his clients, Perlin told a three-judge panel of the 7th U.S. Circuit Court …
