A south suburban hospital has agreed to pay a $6.9 million settlement to the family of a woman who suffered seizures and died three weeks after childbirth.On Tuesday, Cook County Circuit Judge Janet Adams Brosnahan approved the settlement and dismissed the lawsuit involving the estate of Nancy Byrdlong.She died in 2012 from allegedly undiagnosed and untreated pre-eclampsia, a dangerous pregnancy complication consisting of high blood pressure and high levels of protein in the urine.Byrdlong showed no signs of pre-eclampsia …
