School bleacher zoning dispute has support from the sidelines

SPRINGFIELD — The Illinois Supreme Court will consider stances from supporters on both sides of a high school bleacher dispute when it hears the case in its May docket, which begins May 11.Aside from oral arguments, justices will consider positions established in three friend-of-the-court briefs regarding whether Community High School District 155 should have followed the city’s zoning and stormwater ordinances when it relocated and constructed a new set of bleachers at Crystal Lake South High School.McHenry …
