A federal judge has found a Chicago doctor not guilty of accepting $8,050 in alleged kickbacks from the now-shuttered Sacred Heart Hospital for referring patients there.The verdict involving Rajiv Kandala, a 43-year-old family medicine physician, is the only acquittal in the federal government’s prosecution of 11 former executives and doctors affiliated with the hospital.Nine other defendants either pleaded guilty or were convicted at trial.
