Death leads to marijuana law debate

The recent death of a man who was behind bars on a pot possession charge has put a new face on the debate over decriminalizing marijuana in New Hampshire, the only New England state without some form of marijuana decriminalization law.Jeffrey Pendleton, 26, died last month in a Manchester jail where he was being held because he couldn’t pay the $100 bail on charges of marijuana possession.An investigation into his death by the Manchester Police Department is ongoing and the medical examiner’s office said …
