A judge may have unintentionally prodded a juror into returning a guilty verdict when he singled her out as the lone holdout against a conviction, a federal appeals court has concluded.The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals this week held the circumstances surrounding the conviction of Lemurel Williams on a firearms charge were “impermissibly coercive.”The court sent the case back to U.S. District Judge J.P.
