A Cook County jury found the city of Chicago’s Board of Education’s conduct was not willful and wanton in a case involving a grade-school coach who sexually molested a student athlete.In a five-day civil trial last month, the jury placed all the liability on former coach Idris Bridgeforth and none on CPS, and did not award the plaintiff, named as Jane Doe, with any damages.
