An Illinois Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission complaint alleges a Chicago attorney used a combined $364,000 in workers’ compensation settlement funds that belonged to eight of his clients.On Monday, attorney Joel Mitchell Bell, 67, of Teplitz & Bell P.C., was served with the 10-count complaint, which accuses Bell of engaging in misconduct for allegedly failing to deliver settlement money to his clients and for knowingly using his clients’ funds by converting them for his own use.The …
