Court suspends attorney guilty in murder plot

The Illinois Supreme Court has suspended a Homer Glen attorney from practicing on an interim basis after he was found guilty earlier this year of attempting to hire a fellow Will County jail inmate to kill his ex-wife for $5,000.The court entered an order Friday to suspend Robert W. Gold-Smith from practicing after the administrator of the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission petitioned for his suspension in July.According to the ARDC petition, Gold-Smith, 54, was jailed in Will County in 2010 on aggravated …
