A woman who was severely injured in a 2013 car collision is entitled to receive up to $500,000 from her insurance company as part of her underinsured motorist policy, a state appeals panel ruled Thursday.The 1st District Appellate Court rejected Illinois Emcasco Insurance Co.’s assertion that it only owed Erin Tufano $105,000 after she received $395,000 from the two drivers involved in the collision.
