Evans retained his position as Cook County's chief judge Thursday afternoon after securing a majority of circuit judge votes to serve a sixth term.In a closed-door meeting of circuit judges at the Daley Center, Evans secured 129 of 234 votes to beat Circuit Judge Thomas R.
