ARDC: ‘Vile’ racial language deserves 60-day suspension

A panel of the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission found the “vile” language in voice messages an attorney admitted to leaving with two people and his alleged failure to provide competent representation warrant a 60-day suspension.An ARDC Hearing Board issued a report on Sept. 9 that calls for the suspension of Michael Jerome Moore, 63, of Chicago.In its 33-page report, the hearing board details how it found Moore had engaged in misconduct on three counts.Two of those counts alleged that Moore …
