Panel keeps injunction alive in home-care suit

The state of Illinois must continue — at least for now — to provide in-home nursing care for more than 1,200 disabled or chronically ill children.The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals last week declined to strike down a temporary injunction requiring the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services to find nurses to provide the services promised the children.The court ruled the injunction should stay in place because the parents and guardians of the children are likely to prevail in a class-action …
