A bicyclist who suffered several right-leg fractures after colliding with a car in a city intersection has settled his lawsuit for $2.25 million.The agreement came last week in plaintiff Jim Gifford’s negligence case. He and his wife Nicole sued Ujamaa Construction Co. and employee Adolph McGowan in 2014 alleging McGowan failed to keep a proper lookout and yield the right-of-way to Gifford, causing the collision that June.Gifford, who was 44 at the time, was riding southbound in a striped bike lane along Damen Avenue …
