The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals recently held that an insurance broker that did not actually place insurance coverage in a complex series of real estate transactions involving more than 600 commercial properties, had no statutory or common law liability even if it arguably acquired information suggesting the lack of trustworthiness of the transactions.The case is M.G.
