Supreme Court disbars six, suspends 11 attorneys

The Illinois Supreme Court has disbarred six attorneys and suspended 11 others in disciplinary orders entered on Monday.Three of the attorneys resided outside Illinois and three were based in Illinois.The three Illinois-based attorneys who were disbarred were Michael D. Gerhardt and Joel M. Bell of Chicago and Teresa Searcy Woods of Naperville.Gerhardt, of Gerhardt & Haskins LLP, was disbarred after an Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board in November found he neglected two civil cases …
