Truck companies not liable for well contamination

A federal jury has found that two major trucking companies with property in south suburban Sauk Village is not liable for water contamination issues that dates back nearly 10 years.The village sued Roadway Express Inc. and YRC Worldwide in 2014, alleging the companies were involved in several chemical spills and storage tank leaks since 1989.
