Seyfarth Shaw lays off attorneys, staff

Chicago-based labor and employment law firm Seyfarth Shaw LLP has plans to lay off some 40 attorneys and additional staff, according to multiple news sources.While representatives with the firm didn’t confirm that number today, they provided the following statement from firm chairman and managing partner Peter C.
