A woman filed a lawsuit in Cook County Circuit Court last week against a former Rosemont body donation center, claiming her son’s remains were sold for profit instead of used for medical research.Plaintiff Anne Marie Van Damme sued Biological Resource Center of Illinois LLC, alleging in her complaint filed in the Law Division Wednesday that the company said her son’s remains would be used solely for medical or scientific research but they were instead “mishandled, abused, desecrated and sold for profit …
