Judge OKs sanctions for bogus suit against Archdiocese

A Cook County judge will issue monetary sanctions against a man the Archdiocese of Chicago claims filed a lawsuit based on false sexual abuse allegations against ex-priest Daniel McCormack.The archdiocese’s motion, filed in August, alleges that although plaintiff John J. Doe voluntarily dismissed his suit in June with plans at the time to refile, his “entire case is based on a lie.”The church is represented by James C. Geoly and Adam T.
