Emily Donovan is a general assignment and features writer for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin and Chicago Lawyer magazine.

Before joining the Law Bulletin in June 2016, she reported local news and crime stories as an intern for The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, Calif., and for The Gazette in Colorado Springs. She also reported on student activism, administrative policies and features for her campus newspaper, radio station and a national news blog while attending the University of Kansas, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in English.

Emily hails from the Kansas City area and mutinously supports the Oxford comma in her personal time.
