Lake County bar group gets a new head and permanent home

Michael J. Ori will be president of the Lake County Bar Association for one year, but by the time he leaves, the LCBA will have a home for years to come.After renting space for seven years at 300 Grand Ave. in Waukegan, the LCBA is buying the building — creating a permanent home for the 1,150-member bar association.Ori will be installed Thursday as the bar association’s 101st president.
