Lloyd E. Williams Jr. was a civil defense lawyer who battled opponents in the courtroom and befriended them afterward. The attorney who worked on more than 250 jury trials and was a founding partner of Williams, Montgomery & John Ltd. died Tuesday at Evanston Hospital of complications from Parkinson’s disease.
