Mention of expert’s med-mal history requires new trial

A woman who sued her doctor after sustaining bowel injuries during a hysterectomy will get a new trial after a state appeals panel found the jury should not have heard about an expert witness’ own medical-malpractice history.Lisa Swift filed her medical-malpractice suit in Winnebago County Circuit Court against Dr. David J.
