Have I ever run for office before?
Yes. Circuit court judge, 2016, countywide Karnezis vacancy.
Why should voters support my candidacy?
Because I will treat the position as the position of public trust that it is, and diligently perform the duties attendant with the position.
What was my most interesting case?
A case that I took to trial in federal court before retired Judge David Coar in 2009; it wasn’t my most interesting case, but it taught me that in most jury trials, you win or lose at jury selection. I still believe that to be true to this day.
What would I consider my greatest career accomplishment?
Being appointed to the bench in 2015, serving as a circuit judge in the Child Protection Division of the circuit court. Don’t believe what other judges might tell you: Child Protection is the most important division in the circuit court.
What qualities do I bring to the bench?
Common sense, compassion and economy of words
