Supreme Court report identifies 2015 cases ready for legislature’s follow-up

SPRINGFIELD — The state’s top court is providing extra grist for the legislative mill this year.With the start of a new state legislative session last week, the Illinois Supreme Court flagged eight of its decisions from 2015 as ones the General Assembly “may wish to consider.”Included in the annual report to lawmakers are decisions that suggest policy debates, request clarifications and even advocate for changes.
