Judicial Inquiry Board complaint filed over judge ties to murder suspect

The Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board on Thursday announced it has filed a complaint against a St. Clair County judge who allegedly lied to police — and the board itself — about his ties to a man who is charged with murdering another.The board has asked the Illinois Courts Commission to discipline 20th Judicial Circuit Judge Ronald R. Duebbert, who allegedly gave false and misleading statements to police whether David Fields, his roommate, had possession of a phone Duebbert bought.The complaint filed Wednesday …
