Trash-talking a client in filing lengthens attorney suspension

An Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Review Board agreed to recommend a longer suspension for a southern Illinois attorney who was charged with disparaging her client in a court filing.Laura L. Robinson, a sole practitioner in Centreville, was charged in a one-count complaint with improperly entering into an agreement with a client that limited the client’s right to file an ARDC complaint and with entering a court filing that revealed information about her client without the client’s consent …
