Brianna Golan
Golan Christie Taglia LLP
Employment law and litigation

How respected is Brianna Golan, a partner at Chicago's Golan Christie Taglia? Her fellow attorneys say that if they faced employment law issues they'd turn to Golan for representation.

This isn't surprising. Golan has built a reputation as one of the top employment law and litigation specialists in the field, one who relies on her deep knowledge of the law, strong presence in the courtroom and tireless work ethic to secure the best results for her clients.

These talents help explain Golan's rapid rise through the industry. She has earned a steady stream of repeat clients, and helps these companies when they face employment issues or cases involving workers’ compensation claims. She also tackles mortgage foreclosure prosecution and defense cases, property tax assessment work and reorganization and bankruptcy issues.

Brittany Barclae, assistant public defender at the Cook County Public Defender's office, said that Golan never fails to impress when representing clients. Barclae has known Golan for five years, and says that she is continually impressed with Golan's legal skills, dedication to her clients and deep understanding of the law.

"Brianna has a great deal of litigation experience and has achieved outstanding results for her clients," Barclae said. "Brianna has great writing skills and is a zealous advocate for her clients. If I ever had an employment law issue, I would want her representing me."

Golan’s legal skills are top notch. And when a case moves to litigation, her clients know that Golan will craft the strategies most likely to give them the best possible result. But Golan is also skilled at hammering out settlements that benefit her clients. This is important: Sometimes going to court is not the best option for a company facing employment issues. Instead, it is more efficient and cost-effective to settle.

Golan is also adept at quickly identifying her clients’ goals and taking the most efficient path to achieve them. Her clients appreciate this, and reward her with their loyalty.

While Golan has built a thriving legal practice, she has still found time to give back to her community. She is a frequent volunteer with the Junior League of Chicago. She was also an active and devoted volunteer with the Women's Treatment Center, an addiction recovery center in Chicago that unfortunately closed in May 2021 as a result of the pandemic.

While working with the Center, Golan organized an annual legal panel where she brought in speakers on topics such as criminal records, criminal defense, bankruptcy, employment law and DCFS cases.
