A federal appeals court reaffirmed the dismissal of the class-action lawsuit filed by two homeless sex offenders against the city of Chicago after they were blocked from registering.The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Thursday that Chicago police officers did not violate the due process rights of Michael Beley and Douglas Montgomery when they refused to register them under the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act, or SORA.SORA allows for sex offenders who don’t have a fixed address to register with police each …
