Two youth organizations hit with sex-abuse suits

Two lawsuits charging youth organizations with permitting supervisors to sexually abuse their young members was filed, one on Tuesday and the other Wednesday, in Cook County Circuit Court. Wednesday’s suit is against the Boy Scouts of America and the other, filed Tuesday, names the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago as a defendant.
