Lawyer faces suspension over drugs, alleged abuse

A lawyer who used marijuana, crack cocaine and heroin and was twice accused of battery should lose his law license for at least two years, a lawyer-discipline panel has recommended. The Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board urged that Christopher E. Stout’s law license be suspended for two years and until further court order. The three-member panel’s report says that Stout, who now lives in Florida, did not appear at his disciplinary hearing and was not represented by a lawyer …
