Bruce Rauner signed a bill into law Monday aimed at improving underserved communities’ access to high-speed internet.At the signing of House Bill 5752, Rauner said with more broadband communities comes a better quality of life.The measure, effective Jan. 1, establishes a state broadband advisory council to explore ways to expand and increase broadband throughout Illinois by recommending legislation and spending levels.The measure was pushed by advocates who say seniors face difficulties …
