Archdiocese settles abuse case for $2.95M

An alleged molestation victim of former priest Daniel McCormack who sought punitive damages in a negligent employment suit against the Archdiocese of Chicago settled his case Monday for $2.95 million.The settlement was reached one week before the case was to go to trial in Cook County Circuit Court, according to Eugene K.
