Harjani, Cummings set to join U.S. trial bench

Two new jurists will be joining the federal trial bench in Chicago.Jeffrey I. Cummings of Miner, Barnhill & Galland P.C. and Assistant U.S. Attorney Sunil R. Harjani were chosen to serve eight-year terms as magistrate judges on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.Cummings and Harjani were selected by the judges on the court who have lifetime appointments, Chief U.S. District Judge Ruben Castillo announced last week.Both men said they are pleased to be joining the court.“I am humbled …
