SPRINGFIELD — Attorney General Lisa M. Madigan is opening a criminal investigation on whether Gov. Bruce Rauner’s administration improperly handled the Legionnaires’ crisis at the Quincy Veterans Home.The investigation was announced Wednesday, the day after WBEZ-FM 91.5 reported the governor’s administration withheld information that could have potentially saved lives lost to Legionnaires’ disease at the Quincy Veterans Home.State records obtained by the radio station showed that the …
