This week I was fortunate to see three superb productions: “Tootsie,” the pre-Broadway world premiere show about a man masquerading as a woman to advance his theatrical career; “Indecent,” chronicling Shalom Asch’s controversial play about two women in love; and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” adapted from Roald Dahl’s tale of Willy Wonka.“Tootsie,” at the Cadillac Palace Theatre through Oct. 14, is adapted from the 1982 movie with Dustin Hoffman.
