Attendants’ suit remains up in the air

A fair-wages suit filed by a group of flight attendants has another chance after an appeals panel revived some of its previously dismissed claims.The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals this week affirmed a trial judge’s dismissal of claims that SkyWest Airlines’ system of paying attendants solely for time spent on the plane violates the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.But the three-judge panel on Wednesday also reinstated counts that SkyWest is in violation of state and local minimum-wage laws.Judge Michael B …
