Wheelchair users can pursue Uber ADA suit

Two people who use motorized wheelchairs got the go-ahead to pursue allegations that Uber is violating federal law by failing to provide them with the same access to transportation services that others enjoy.In a written opinion last week, U.S. District Judge Manish S. Shah declined to throw out the claims for injunctive relief that Michelle Garcia and Justin Cooper filed against Uber Technologies Inc. under the Americans with Disabilities Act.Garcia and Cooper contend Uber is “virtually unavailable” to people …
