The 2019 Illinois State Bar Association election started with a hiccup Wednesday, with the bar group nullifying nearly 300 electronically cast ballots due to a typographic error in the instructions for one competitive contest.The ISBA’s Cook County Board of Governors has eight candidates vying for five seats.As initially sent out to ISBA members, the electronic ballot told Cook County voters they could vote for “one (5)” of the eight candidates on the ballot.The bar group and its vendor corrected the text …
